Year 5 loved their stargazing event yesterday and were lucky to see many stars including the North Star and Orions Belt and even a satellite in the clear skies. Before they went outside the children created Scratch projects on the Chromebooks based on space, made star constellations in a variety of different mediums, used cartons to make rockets and an orrery from paper. Finally they enjoyed hot chocolate and marshmallows before venturing out.
