The Year 2 children enjoyed spending their afternoon in our new minibeast area that they have been working on. They had a particular area of the habitat to look at in detail and used their wildflower identification sheet to spot and draw detailed pictures of plants such as clover, daffodils and yarrow. We then compared the different plants that we found. The children are really looking forward to building some bug hotels later this week.
