Safeguarding

We believe that all children have a right to be safe and should be protected from all forms of abuse and neglect.

Because safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, all staff members are committed to recognising and reporting all concerns relating to child safety, wellbeing and in particular are vigilant to spot signs of abuse and maltreatment. All staff receive continuous safeguarding training updates to ensure that safeguarding is an ongoing priority within our school.

As such, we promise to:

The Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mrs Karen Riches

The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mr Andy Chambers

Other designated safeguarding leads are Mrs Helen Wolstencroft and Ms Kaye Brinton

These members of staff are the main contacts in the event of a child protection concern and can be contacted via the school office.
