We have been planning for such a long time to improve the EYFS garden and yesterday afternoon the old fence came down allowing us access into the new part of our garden! The EYFS area is now HUGE with so many opportunities for purposeful play. Obviously the new climbing equipment was a hit but we now also have a secret sensory path and a water play area - that some of the EYFS team and their families spent their Saturday building. There are further plans to develop areas but on a much smaller scale. The good news for this cohort is that plans continue for the children to use the area into Year 1 and we are also developing a new grown up 'Year 1 garden area' too! Watch this space!
